If you want develop your child’s natural dance talent or you are just looking for something to assist with coordination, flexibility, or strength, your child will benefit from Shining Stars, our preschool dance program.
Tiny Tot Hip Hop – Teaches the fundamentals of Hip hop in a fun and creative way to children 3 to 5 years old. Set to upbeat music, dancers will work on strength and flexibility, fine and gross motor skills, and musicality. Ages 3-5
Budding Stars – A creative movement class focusing on musicality and movement fundamentals. This class introduces ballet basics, and work on building both fine and gross motor skills in a fun and imaginative way. Age 2 yrs old
Shooting Stars – Breaks down the basics of Basics of Jazz and Tap and builds on the fundamentals of ballet. At this level we also introduce the different parts of a dance class. Such as across the floor, center work, and a formal stretch. Ages 3-4
Rising Stars – Further introduces skills in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. In ballet we further break down the class sections, adding in Adagio and Grande Allegro. In Jazz we will be working on across the floor skills both as single skills and in combination with other skills. In tap, we will be working on making clear and crisp sounds and focusing on the importance of weight changes in tap. – Ages 4-5
Super Stars – Works on introducing Intermediate skills in all genres of dance. In ballet we also introduce petit allegro and will be working on a full barre. In Jazz, we will be working on a full range of skills including leaps and turns, both stationary and traveling. In tap, we will be working on Intermediate steps and combos to really push each dancer. Ages 5-6
